Terrorist or freedom fighter? Devised piece 15/09/16

In our group, we started to block our ideas for the piece; for the start of the movement piece, we decided to have Taylor sit on a chair as if she is about to be brainwashed and have Callum and Joe as hostages on either side diagonal to Taylor, and me and Owen were the terrorists brainwashing Taylor. We decided to have me and Owen controlling her and violently moving her body forwards, backwards and sideways without actually touching - like puppet masters - to show that we are controlling Taylor and she cannot escape. We then controlled her arms and lifted them (like puppet masters still) and put a gun in her hand and then I clicked, and at the click she shoots the first hostage; this is to show that we have the power to convince her to kill and her mind is being controlled by us - she is not in control of herself. Throughout the movement piece, we very rarely physically touch her, however we control her movements a lot, again, like puppet masters, to show that we are controlling her mind which has an immediate psychological affect on her physical actions, rather than controlling her physical actions and 'forcing'  her to kill so that she has no choice, because terrorists want people to kill for their religion on their own accord. This is because terrorists obviously believe they are freedom fighters and they want everyone to see them that way rather them just forcing people to do what they just because of a threat, they want them to believe that they are fighting for freedom.
