Today we carried with our 6 hour project piece, and we came up with an ending to the movement piece; we decided to have a bit where Taylor is strapping a bomb to her chest and the she explodes and in slow motion we all blast backwards. We decided to have this bit to a heartbeat that gradually increases in speed to add tension and dramatics to the atmosphere. We then started to work on the poem. We decided to have some stanzas come right after the other so it's almost like everyone has the same thing on their mind and everyone knows what they're going to say next. This is effective because it shows that all victims suffer the same fate as every other victim; no victim of terrorism is 'better off' than any other victim. The addition of me playing guitar was very effective as it made this part feel alot more personal, and where I was easily able to change the dynamics, I could build up tension as the poem progresses because it gets alot deeper and hard hitting later on towards the end of the poem.
